Wide Tire Kits
Rear Wheel:
With this kit you can mount either a 200 tire on a 6x16" wheel or a 210 on a 6.25 x 17" rim in the standard swing arm with the modified standard aluminium wheel.
Standard alu wheels… They can grow bigger. How?? The original aluminium wheels are modified by re-welding.
Here's what happens:
First the wheel is mounted on a special lathe and the original rim is cut off. Then a new, wider rim is welded in place & given a brushed matt finish. The "new" wider wheel is complete.
On request the wheel rim can be highly polished. Furthermore the wheel can be complete High Gloss Compacting or powder coated.
Front Wheel:
We have two possibilities for you. Our wide tire kits work with the standard 130/90 front tire or the more sporty 130/70 ZR 16 front end. Both are TüV Approved.
The front wheel can also be polished, High Gloss Compacting, or powder coated.
